Pulo Brayan, Medan City - (29/11/25) As a form of concern for the community affected by the flood, Jestham distributed 1,000 morning meal packages to residents in Pulo Brayan Kota Village. The aid distribution took place at the office of the Village Head of Pulo Brayan Kota and was subsequently delivered to flood points that are still inundated.
This activity was also directly witnessed by the Head of Medan Barat Sub-district and the Village Head, along with the officials of Pulo Brayan Kota Village, who were present to ensure the distribution proceeded in an orderly and on-target manner.

This assistance brings new hope for residents who are still struggling to restore their home conditions due to the floods in the past few days. Many families have lost food supplies and face difficulties cooking as their homes are still filled with mud.
Jestham stated that this aid is a personal initiative as a form of solidarity with residents facing difficult times.

“This is the time for us to strengthen each other. I hope these 1,000 morning packages can help ease the burden on the residents, especially those still struggling to obtain ready-to-eat meals,” said Jestham.
The Village Head of Pulo Brayan Kota expressed appreciation for this concern and mentioned that collaboration between the community, government, and volunteers is crucial in emergency situations like this.

“We thank Jestham for his concern. This assistance is very beneficial for our residents. The Village Head stated that the village government remains committed to distributing aid swiftly and precisely.
Meanwhile, the Head of Medan Barat Sub-district, Maswan Harahap, emphasized that the sub-district office continues to monitor the affected locations and conduct cross-sector coordination to accelerate recovery.
“We will continue to be in the field. This flood situation requires collective attention and swift action. Assistance like this greatly helps the residents,” he said.

Hundreds of residents were seen queueing orderly to receive the morning meal packages before they were distributed to various affected neighborhoods. The activity concluded with a review of several flood points by the sub-district head, village head, their staff, and the volunteer team.
With this assistance, residents hope that more parties will be moved to help with post-flood recovery, especially regarding food needs and environmental cleanliness.
