The Power of "Merah Putih": Celebrating the 80th Independence Day with JÈSTHAM Group
Medan City, North Sumatra - (17/08/25) JÈSTHAM Group held an event that was not only festive but also full of meaning to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's independence. Amidst the blazing spirit of nationalism, Cici Jestham and Ko Thomas had prepared a special surprise in the form of hundreds of millions of rupiah in cash to enliven the Independence Day party at the JÈSTHAM factory. Since morning, the team's enthusiasm was palpable, with faces eager for the games to begin.
Upon arrival at the location, the festivity was even more apparent. Ko Thomas and Cici Jestham opened the event with great spirit, greeted by cheerful cheers from the entire JÈSTHAM team, who were eager to participate. Their beloved son, Axel, also enlivened the atmosphere in an adorable independence-themed costume. "Today we will celebrate Indonesia's 80th birthday together with JÈSTHAM!" said Ko Thomas, which was then followed by a warm address from Cici Jestham.

In his speech, Ko Thomas expressed his gratitude for the entire team gathering in good health. With prayers and hopes for JÈSTHAM to continue advancing and developing, he gave thanks to God Almighty. "Praise God, we are grateful to be able to gather in this place; by the grace and blessing of the Almighty, we are still given good health. Next year, may we gather in even greater numbers, amen?" he exclaimed, met with roaring support from the entire team.

The games then began, showcasing how cohesive and solid each team was in strategizing to win the prizes. From the game of raising a ball using a straw to the cracker-eating contest with blindfolded eyes, every moment was filled with laughter and a spirit of healthy competition. Uniquely, this year's tug-of-war was held on a soapy floor, increasing the difficulty level and eliciting laughter as participants stumbled and fell while striving for victory.

After the games concluded, the entire JÈSTHAM team enjoyed the prepared meals while sharing stories and laughter in a warm atmosphere of togetherness. This moment proved that behind the competition, there is a strong bond of family. The time came for the winner announcements, with resounding cheers of "Merdeka!" (Freedom!) accompanying the distribution of cash prizes and gifts presented directly by Ko Thomas and Cici Jestham.
Team Silvia won third place, followed by Fazaria, the lively live host, in second place. And the most awaited moment was Team Venny's win; usually tasked with distributing money, it was now her team's turn to be the winner receiving the cash. In a fun twist, all participants still received cash, because as is JÈSTHAM's tradition, togetherness and joy are more important than mere victory.

The event closed with a hopeful message from Cici Jestham and Ko Thomas. They prayed for JÈSTHAM to continue progressing and succeeding and to be able to open more job opportunities in the future. "May next year be even more festive, and may JÈSTHAM be able to open more job opportunities for people so that even more can work at JÈSTHAM, Merdeka!" concluded Cici Jestham with great enthusiasm.
