A Surprising Touch and Tears Behind Jesica Thamrin’s Kindness

Pulo Brayan, Medan City – (05/28/25) Amid her busy office routine, Jesica Thamrin, often called Jestham, once again created a special moment for her employees. Every month, she routinely shares blessings and happiness, but this time, there was a unique touch. Jestham prepared a surprise that went beyond material generosity—it also delved into the emotional depths of her staff. A small challenge was introduced: three mysterious slips of paper containing profound questions to be read at random, with special rewards awaiting. This moment became more than just a distribution of blessings—it was a space for sharing emotions, laughter, and tears.

The first mystery slip went to Tri, one of Jestham’s loyal employees. When she read the question, "Who is the person you miss the most right now?" the room suddenly fell silent. Overcome with emotion, Tri choked up and could only utter one word: "Dad." Tears streamed down her face, revealing the deep longing she held for her father, who had recently passed away. She reminisced about her father’s heartfelt advice during her wedding, praying for her marriage to last. Tri also shared sweet memories of making coffee for her dad every morning. Jestham immediately embraced Tri, offering strength and sharing in her profound grief. Everyone present rallied around her, sending encouragement and prayers for Tri and her loved ones.

Next, the second mystery slip found its recipient: Mrs. Juwita. The question read, "When you get your paycheck, who is the first person you think of?" The moment was equally moving. With tears in her eyes, Mrs. Juwita unhesitatingly answered, "Heru," her only son. She explained that Heru was her sole family and her primary reason for persevering. Living alone together, Mrs. Juwita worked tirelessly to provide for her son, especially to secure his education. Suddenly, Heru appeared, hugging his mother tightly, expressing gratitude for her endless sacrifices and unconditional love. Jestham affirmed that in every decision and action, Mrs. Juwita always prioritized her son’s happiness.

Finally, the third mystery slip was read by Tami. The question tugged at heartstrings: "If you could apologize to someone, who would it be?" In a trembling voice, Tami immediately replied, "Mom." She confessed her regret and guilt for feeling like she hadn’t become a successful or pride-worthy daughter to her parents. Hearing Tami’s admission, Jestham quickly offered reassurance. She reminded Tami that she was already remarkable—living independently and even sending support to her parents back home. Jestham emphasized that Tami’s efforts were a source of pride in themselves.

These moments revealed that the mystery slips were more than just ordinary questions—they were honest reflections of each individual’s deepest emotions. Behind every heartfelt and tearful answer lay stories of struggle, longing, and profound love. Jestham succeeded in creating a space where raw emotions could surface, strengthening bonds among employees and reminding them of the human values often forgotten in the hustle of work. It proved that even a simple interaction could touch hearts so deeply.

Of course, behind every "challenge" lies a special surprise. The three selected to read the mystery slips—Tri, Mrs. Juwita, and Tami—were fortunate to receive extra blessings from Jestham. Their rewards were distinct and more meaningful, leaving others who missed the chance feeling a slight regret. This personal touch from Jestham made the moment of sharing even more unforgettable for those brave enough to be vulnerable.

Nevertheless, Jestham’s kindness didn’t end there. Her entire work family—employees who had worked hard and shown dedication—still received their share of blessings. The distribution was met with bright smiles and a sincere appreciation for their efforts. This was more than just about money; it was about camaraderie, gratitude, and shared joy, reinforcing the bond between leader and team in a warm, familial atmosphere.
