A Touching Story of an Ojol Driver: The 1-Minute Orange Challenge Yields Blessings to Repair His Motorcycle and Help a Friend

Medan Petisah, Medan City - (17/09/25) In a world that often feels individualistic, sometimes a light of kindness emerges that touches the heart. One of them is the true story of an online motorcycle taxi driver struggling to support his family. His motorcycle, the backbone of his livelihood, broke down. The thought of the substantial repair costs was undoubtedly a heavy burden for him. However, fate brought him together with Jestham through a unique mission of sharing, changing everything.

Seeing the condition of the driver who was in distress, Jestham had an idea to help him in an unusual way. Instead of giving direct charity, Jestham offered a fun challenge. He took out a number of oranges and said, "Bro, if you can finish these oranges within one minute, all of this will be yours." The challenge was enthusiastically accepted by the driver.

The tense moments began. With cheers and encouragement from Jestham, the driver tried his best to finish orange after orange. The sound of "Faster, Bro!" kept breaking his concentration, but he did not give up. His face began to turn red, yet his hands kept moving quickly. In the last ten seconds, a countdown began. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1!" The challenge ended. The driver was gasping for breath, feeling nauseous from being overly full, but he succeeded!

After counting, it turned out the persistent driver managed to finish 11 oranges. As promised, each successfully eaten orange was valued at Rp 100,000. The result was extraordinary; cash amounting to Rp 1,100,000 became his prize. Money that was very meaningful to repair his damaged motorcycle, which he estimated would cost around Rp 700,000. When asked about his feelings, he simply replied, "Nervous, shocked, and nauseous." He admitted he never expected to meet a kind person like Jestham.

However, the driver's sincerity became even more apparent after receiving his winnings. When Jestham asked what he would do if given additional money, his answer was noble. Instead of for himself, he wanted to use the money to "help my fellow friends too." An answer that shows a high level of solidarity and empathy, even though he himself was in difficulty.

His generosity and sincere intentions did not escape Jestham's attention. Touched by the driver's desire to share, Jestham added more money for him. This addition was meant so that the driver could not only repair his motorcycle but also truly realize his good intention to help his struggling comrades.

The driver's life struggles were further revealed. It was discovered that because his motorcycle was broken, he had to use public transportation to deliver his customers' orders. A sacrifice that shows his determination as a head of the family, although not yet blessed with children, to keep working hard to meet needs. His message for people who are struggling is simple yet profound: "Just be sincere in facing all of this. The main point is we do good even if people don't do good to us."

This story does not stop at mere financial assistance but becomes real proof that a good heart will multiply blessings. The driver's sincerity in helping others actually brought forth greater blessings. This episode teaches us about the meaning of sharing, the spirit of perseverance, and sincerity in facing life's tests. Keep up the spirit to all life warriors out there!
