Jestham's Treat presents a touching and exciting surprise for Indomaret employees.
Medan City, North Sumatra – (10/12/25) Once again, Jestham’s Treat has proven her dedication to spreading kindness in a fun and unexpected way. This time, she highlights the touching story of two Indomaret employees who became the target of her surprise. The challenge? They were given the chance to shop for groceries to their heart's content, but with very limited time—just 2 minutes. That time was then divided between the two of them, starting with Kak Nisa, who had to take on a fun yet nerve-wracking mission for a full 1 minute.

The background to this surprise was deeply moving. Before the challenge began, Kak Nisa shared that her house had just been flooded, following the recent disaster that struck Medan City. The disaster damaged many settlements and, of course, the surrounding environment. Amidst that pressure-filled situation, she was suddenly offered the chance to shop freely as a form of assistance. Her emotions immediately overflowed—she hadn't even started running yet when she burst into tears.
“One, two, three, go!” With that count, the mission began. Kak Nisa immediately grabbed a shopping cart and dashed through the store aisles. With lightning-fast strategy, she prioritized basic necessities for her family, especially for her little one. Formula milk, diapers, and eggs became her main targets. The cheers and commotion from the Jestham team, urging her with shouts of “Hurry up, Kak!” and “Get another cart!” added to the tense and spirited atmosphere.

After the 1 minute ended, Kak Nisa managed to gather a mountain of items at the cashier. Behind the panic and excitement lay an inspiring story that she shared. It turns out Kak Nisa is a new mother to her first child, a baby boy named Xavier, whom she had after waiting for two years. When asked to leave a message for her son, with tearful eyes she said, “Son, Mommy works for you.”

Her struggles as a mother and breadwinner were deeply felt. She pumps breast milk for her child’s supply while working. Her message to her husband was equally touching: “I hope only death can separate us.” This emotional moment was filled with prayers and hopes for her family to stay strong and blessed.
With a mountain of paid groceries, the challenge wasn’t over yet. There was still 1 minute left, belonging to the second employee, another Indomaret worker also affected by the flood. The challenge resumed with the same intensity, ready to showcase more exciting action and different strategies in sweeping the grocery shelves.
Every story in this Jestham’s Treat mission perfectly blends panic, humor, and touching moments that can make us all feel inspired. The real-life stories behind the smiles of these hard workers remind us of the meaning of gratitude and compassion. See you in the continuation of this story!
