Only Had 43 Seconds, But The Result Was Beyond Expectation (Episode 2)

Denpasar City, Bali - (05/09/25) The second part of Jestham's "Treat on Me" challenge at the minimarket was finally won by an enthusiastic individual, Danu Irawan. The atmosphere immediately erupted in excitement the moment Danu's name was announced as the winner. Behind his shy smile lies the story of a resilient young man living away from home. When asked who he lived with, Danu straightforwardly answered that he lives in a boarding house (kos) by himself, unlike his friends.

It turns out that Danu is an only child who has traveled far from his home in Bogor. With a journey that takes up to 28 hours, his decision to move away was driven by a strong determination to be independent and not be a burden to his parents. "So I won't be a burden to my parents; I want to find work," he said sincerely. He hasn't even been away for long, only about three months, making all the feelings of loneliness and longing a daily challenge he must face.

With only 43 seconds on the clock, the challenge began! Danu shot off like a sprinter. His focus was singular: to grab as many essential items as possible. Jestham and the others could only watch in stunned amazement, cheering with joy as they witnessed Danu's incredibly "fast-moving" (gercep) actions. Indomie instant noodles were his primary target, and he grabbed them in such large quantities that it made everyone laugh in amusement.

A hilarious moment occurred in the midst of the excitement. Danu was so focused on grabbing items that he forgot to pick up a shopping basket! He ran back and forth with his arms full of Indomie, searching for a basket he couldn't find. "Where are all his friends, guys? Feel sorry for him; no one is helping him!" exclaimed Jestham while laughing. This moment only added to the chaotic and natural feel of the challenge.

Once time was up, the result was extraordinary. Danu had managed to gather a mountain of goods that filled five baskets! An achievement that was completely unexpected. Still panting and feeling overjoyed, Danu expressed his gratitude for being invited to participate in this challenge. He estimated that the items he collected would be enough to last him for the next three months.

Behind the laughter and fun, Jestham invited Danu to share a deeper story about his life. As an only child, Danu admitted that loneliness is his daily companion. However, that does not dampen his spirit. "It's okay to be alone. Because when we are alone, we can focus on our goals," Jestham advised Danu and all other only children. Danu's sincere prayer for his parents in Bogor was a simple one: that they always stay healthy and be blessed with abundant fortune.

Thus, this second episode of Danu's journey is not just an exciting shopping challenge but also a real portrait of the independent spirit of a young man living away from home. His story provides positive energy and leaves us anticipating the final episode. Who will be the third person to continue this inspirational treat mission? Stay tuned.
